Geology

Prospect is underlain by Silurian graywacke and Devonian and Silurian greenstone; intruded by a small Cretaceous quartz monzonite plug and smaller syenite body. Sedimentary rocks are silicified and contain disseminated pyrite. Carbonatite is present throughout the intrusion. Contains widespread alteration and mineralization but no known ore zones.
