Itelyum INSPIREE Ceccano

Itelyum Regeneration's LIFE22-ENV-IT-INSPIREE project: Europe's first industrial-scale plant for recycling rare earth elements (Nd, Pr, Dy) from exhausted permanent magnets in WEEE, to be built at the Itelyum plant in Ceccano (Frosinone), Italy. The 42-month EU LIFE project started 1 October 2023 with EUR 3,245,429.41 of EU co-funding, targeting a 2,000 t/y magnet treatment capacity starting from 500 t/y. Recognised as an EU CRMA Strategic Project (recycling, Italy). Note: the plant is at Ceccano per company sources, not at Itelyum's Pieve Fissiraga base.
